May 4th, 2024: We loved this great house overlooking a slice of heaven in Eleuthera. Beautiful grounds and gardening and a delightful set of small coves on the perfect ocean, we spent 6-8 hours a day bobbing up and down, and paddle boarding. Would have been privacy Nirvana except the family next door happened to also be spending the week. In any case there's no one and nothing for a mile east of the house, just forest and rocky shore full of aquatic wildlife. It was hard to leave.

April 12th, 2022: Your kids will thank you for coming to the getaway… if they are anything like mine. We are an outdoor family, and have visited Eleuthera previously and will definitely return to this spot. We spent days snorkeling right at the house and saw a ray, hermit crabs, starfish and more. Also my kids caught lizards all day when we needed a break from the sun. It’s true that the bugs will get you, but maybe next time we will bring citronella candles and enjoy the screened in porches even more. We had plenty of space for our kids upstairs and us in the main bedroom, and cooked most of our meals at the house. The WiFi is great, which made test taking to get home easy. We played lots of checkers and enjoyed that the house had games and books. Timothy & the caretakers are wonderful at responding to any needs or issues. Thank you for allowing us to have such a memorable trip!

We have stayed in Current many times but this was our first stay at Getaway and it was everything we expected. The house is perfect. Clean, bright and designed beautifully. Tanya lined up a rental car which worked out excellent. The beach out front is the best in the world. If a quiet "getaway" is what you are seeking...search no further. This is it.
