Dave: Fabulous stay. We loved being back in Current after 35 years. Tim your house is just perfect. Loved talking with Karen about the various families who still live here. Visiting with old friends. Meals on your wonderful porch. The soothing color scheme in the house. Meeting Susan in the house where we lived for a year. Talking to fishermen on the dock. Doing art with Karen’s daughter. Talking with Bonnie about some of the folks no longer around. Visiting with Janice today just down the hill past the old phone station…

April 5th, 2026: The Getaway is absolutely perfect for a quiet commercial-free vacation. We were looking to not be near crowds or anything touristy and it was exactly that. House was clean and comfortable. Beach was perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and paddle boarding. We had a large storm one day which knocked out power for over a day but the generator kicked on seamlessly and we never were without electricity. We also lost internet access, but Pedro was incredibly helpful in bringing in a new modem. He also continued to check the fuel and top off the generator throughout the power outage. Nothing could have been easier or more relaxing!

February 26th, 2006: Our host was very responsive as well as his two property managers. We loved the seclusion and short walk to our own beach. The water was calm and crystal clear, west facing for beautiful evening sunsets. The house had everything we needed. We pedaled bikes down to a local variety store for food, it was well stocked and very clean. Thank you!

February 20th, 2026: Homes location on the beach was exceptional. The road in is very rough but just go very slow with car and you will be fine. The home itself could use a few updates but was just fine and the views more then make up for it. We explored, preachers cave, blue hole, glass window bridge and queens bath all within 25 min drive from the home. Sunsets are amazing but be carefully of no see ums at dusk on calm days.

December 31st, 2025: Really enjoyed our stay!! We love the current because of how peaceful and quiet it is. Tim’s place on north beach was great, had everything we needed and absolutely stunning views!

March 2nd, 2025: Hands down the best beach house I’ve ever stayed in! This place is absolutely perfect for 2-4 people, from the well-equipped house to the adorable and convenient pocket beach. All towels and linens are provided in abundance. The kitchen has oils, vinegars, and spices to supplement whatever you bring home from the market. The air conditioning at night was perfect. The road is rough but we had an old jalopy mini van and it was fine as long as you go slow. We were lucky in that we didn’t need to contact the property managers at all but we met Pedro briefly one morning when he came to check the generator, he was very nice. I can’t say enough good things about this place, I hope we’ll be able to return soon!
